Scripture Remains Central
KTB is built around reading Scripture by book, chapter, and verse. Study tools serve the text rather than pulling attention away from it.
Grace and Peace. Our heart is to honor The Lord by illuminating His Word.
Preserving Scripture. Illuminating The Creator.
Know The Bible exists to help readers begin with the text of Scripture, study it in context, and grow in reverent understanding as The Lord reveals His truth through His Word.
KTB does not replace Scripture. It gathers context, references, notes, and study helps around Scripture so the reader can see more clearly what God has already preserved in the written Word.
To allow for the collection, collation, collaboration and consumption of Biblical Context Data.
While translations may be added or changed over time, and the meaning of words may adjust for one interpretation or another, the real tangible truths that those preciously preserved pages hold make manifest The Creator.
"No Scripture is of private interpretation..." without context, we are left to presume the meaning of words. No other text in all of history has more associated context yet-to-be-realized than that of the Written Word of God.
In the beginning was The Word ... that was not characters on a piece of paper, it was The Living, Breathing, multi-dimensional Son of God, Jesus Christ. Today, we read 2-dimensional text on a piece of paper or computer screen and our understanding is limited to our knowledge of the meaning.
Using Wisdom, we aim to respectfully honor The Author of The Word and enrich the 2 dimensional word with multi-dimensional context to bring the text to life, capture the imagination of the reader and enrapture them in the awe-inspiring real world context that exists.
KTB is built around reading Scripture by book, chapter, and verse. Study tools serve the text rather than pulling attention away from it.
Cross-references, notes, first references, and related biblical data are gathered so patterns and connections can be examined carefully.
Search across translations to compare wording, trace themes, and learn with humility from the wider witness of the preserved biblical text.
KTB seeks to help readers discover Christ-centered meaning already present within Scripture, from Moses and the Prophets to the Apostles.
Scripture repeatedly shows that true understanding is more than gathering information. It is God opening the heart and mind to receive what He has spoken. The Lord gives wisdom, His Word gives light, His Spirit teaches, and faithful servants help make the meaning plain.
This pattern appears throughout the Bible. Israel was commanded to hear, remember, teach, meditate, and obey. The Levites helped the people understand the reading of the Law. The Psalms ask God to open the eyes so His wondrous things may be seen. The Prophets rebuked people who heard words without perceiving their meaning. In the Gospels, even the disciples needed Jesus to open their understanding before they could grasp how Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms testified of Him.
KTB is shaped by that biblical pattern. The goal is not novelty, speculation, or replacing the work of the Holy Spirit. The goal is to place Scripture, context, cross-references, and faithful study helps together so readers can slow down, compare carefully, and behold Christ more clearly in the Word God has preserved.
Understanding matters because Scripture is given to make God known, expose the heart, form obedience, strengthen faith, and reveal Jesus Christ. When readers see how passages connect, why words matter, and how God unfolds His redemptive purpose across the Bible, study becomes more than research. It becomes worshipful attention to the voice of God.
